The picture depicts two men: The man on the left is trapped in a bottle and looks helpless for he simply cannot find a way out, while the other man on the right breaks the bottle with a hammer and walks out with a happy look.
It is not difficult to grasp the message conveyed by the picture—to break the bottleneck one has to resort to innovation. This is particularly true for China today. Firstly, as labor costs in China keep rising, China has to rely more on technological advances brought by innovation to save cost and maintain its competitive edge in the global market. Secondly, innovation should be encouraged to inject vitality into China's traditional and lifeless systems in some fields, so as to improve efficiency and better meet the demands of Chinese people.
