今天是母亲节，全世界每个伟大的母亲的节日。我决定为家里做点什么，可我除了会叠被子以外，还是什么都不会做。爸爸、妈妈看在眼里，急在心里，决定让我先学会最简单的家务------洗碗。说干就干，我端了一大叠没洗过的碗放进水池里。我学着妈妈的样子，打开水龙头，用水慢慢地冲洗几遍，我一边冲一边用手擦掉碗上的杂物，一开始进展得很顺利，碗上的许多杂物已经清理掉了。我关上水龙头。得意洋洋地想：“现在就剩下抹洗洁精了，以前老听爸爸、妈妈说洗碗很难，没想到也不过如此嘛”。我正想拿洗洁精，忽然我手一滑，碗就在地上炸开了花，我急忙把碗捡起来，心想：“纯属意外，这碗真可怜，第一个成了牺牲品，不过这也不能怪我，失败是成功之母嘛”。接着我拿起另一个碗洗起来。这个碗好象在和我做对，一个劲地往下滑，我洗了半天，也没有洗干净。我一急，手一松，只听“咚”地一声响，结果可想而知。我这才如梦初醒，捡起地上的碗，可惜已经迟了，这个碗摔了个“半身残疾”。我心里打起了退堂鼓，心想：“再这样下去，一池的碗都会被我摔完的”。这时，妈妈走了进来，笑眯眯地问我：“碗洗好了吗？我和你爸爸都等着用你洗的碗吃饭呢！”。我羞愧极了，低着头回答说：“还没有，我老是洗不干净碗”。妈妈见了说：“不要心急，我来给你做示范”。说完，妈妈拿起碗，熟练地用水冲洗着，然后抹上洗洁精，用手细心地把杂物清理掉，最后用水把洗洁精冲干净。我仔细地观察着妈妈的动作，只见妈妈把碗底抹干净，之后一圈一圈地往上擦。妈妈边擦边和我说：“有油的碗不太好洗”，我听了恍然大悟，心想：“怪不得第一个碗好洗，而第二个碗不好洗”，之后我学着妈妈的样子，笨拙地冲洗着，虽然我洗的盘子没有妈妈洗得那么好，但是我还是很高兴。接着我又照着前次的方法把碗全部洗完了。看着一叠干净、舒适的碗，我心里美滋滋的。从这次洗碗中，我不仅懂得该怎样洗碗，还懂得了：实践出才干！

妈妈喜欢吃炒土豆丝和西红柿炒鸡蛋，我想起母亲为我做饭的情景，我就先把土豆洗干净，再削皮，再把土豆切成丝。然后把煤气打开，接着把火打开，把油再倒进去一炒，土豆丝就做好了。该做西红柿炒鸡蛋，先把西红柿切好，再把鸡蛋和西红柿一炒，一顿香喷喷的午饭就做好了。

正好母亲也回来了，妈妈在开门的时候，我想给母亲一个惊喜，于是就藏了起来，妈妈闻到了香味，看到了桌上的饭菜，感到很疑惑，不知道是我做的。然后我突然出来了，母亲吓了一跳，这才知道饭菜是我做的。

一切都准备好了，万事俱备，只欠东风。我想着妈妈接到礼物的样子，不由地笑了起来。“噔噔”熟悉的脚步声传来，我有点紧张，心跳加快了。妈妈回家了，熟悉的声音传来，“女儿，妈妈回来了”。

在母亲节的晚上，我来帮妈妈洗脚了。我先接了一盆水，摸了摸水说：“呀！水太凉了。”于是，我又加了点热水，水温刚刚好。我把它吃力地端过来放在地上，让妈妈坐在沙发上。
